I know what you meant. I was getting more at the 60's sports car thing. Ripping up British sports cars (true sports cars, much like the BRZ), and stuffing over-powered American V8s into them. I'm sure there were purists in the 60's that were just as upset about their perfect sports cars being ripped up, but I grew up 20 years later with an AC Cobra on my wall.
BTW, I don't really see the point of putting a Toyota engine in the car, since it didn't come with one to begin with. Might as well be a 5.0.
