It is possible that someone out there has done this, but it is highly unlikely.

Most tuners will traditionally go for a cat-back exhaust first. This changes tone and increases power. It is not a best practice to open up exhaust piping up stream and then bottle neck it back to smaller diameter down stream. The most logical is to change the farthest pieces downstream of the header and work your way back. The best is to replace all the pieces at once, of course.

Cat-back makes the most sense to me.
