Go listen to just about any diesel motor with a direct injection system, or even my Mazdaspeed 3 with a very similar system. They all make this sound. It's a part of normal operation. I've been working on direct injected cars for 4 years now. They make strange noises.

I have done plenty of research, and there are TSBs and other's research to back me up. Stop trolling. And if you own a BRZ, why not have it right there in your info window on the left there?
