This is essentially what the dei530t module does, except it also remains powered when the car is off, and will apply power to window motor if commanded by one of its input lines.

Ironically, autowindow does not care or need or use the one-touch feature of the dei530t, it simply uses this module's capabilities for powering and driving the window motors while the car is off.

Now, if the BRZ can move windows while key is out, then we have something to look into further.

Q: does your car have "retained accessory power" whereby after stopping the car and taking the key out, you can still use the radio and other interior accessory powered devices for a while? On some cars this works until you open a door. I think you know what I'm talking about. My Legacy doesnt have this feature and just wondering if BRZ got around to adding this very thing? (Guess what? I made an add-on module for this feature and now have retained accessory power... Like it should have come with in the first place!)

Yes, you don't need to hold down the button, its one touch up and one touch down.

On your second question its also a yes. After you turn the car off (push button off), windows keep power until you open a door.

Now I ask, given all of this information, do I still need the DEI530T or would autowindow be able to use this feature (able to control windows for a short period of time after car off) to not need DEI530T?
