I think my neck and back are ruined now --- I could have used a highly trained small monkey with tiny hands to do this. Also the small rod was not easy to turn at first (NEED GRIP).
However --- after all is said and done my cluch petal is adjusted just slightly lower than the brake pedal (I have not measured yet) and it does feel better. Instead of reaching an engagment point at 80% out of clutch it is more like 50% now. I did have to adjust the sensor for the cruise/gear thing.
I am still not used to how LIGHT the clutch is. I thought this mod made it feel lighter or that I did something wrong but I think the clutch is just really light to begin with.

I also noticed that mine is noticeably lighter now. I think it might have something to do with the downward adjustment precompressing the clutch return spring that sits on the firewall.
