With an auto transmission, problems seem to cost at least $1500 and unless you know your stuff it's not the type of thing you can fix in your garage.

You know I always see people post what you wrote and then I turn around and I hear of people who spend over a 1k to fix a clutch. If the auto goes bad within 60k miles the warranty covers it 100% but since a clutch is a wear item it's not covered. I see that as a win in my book
