Yes I know we dont' know about this vehicles towing capacity.

But i was curious if there are examples of low power/sports cars that tow their own trailers ...rather than use a truck/suv.
Some time ago I asked a somewhat similar question and one forum member pointed me this page of towing a small trailer for tires and track gears.

So even if by spec Miata was not suppose to tow anything, there are people who are doing that. They probably did it with class 1 or less trailer hitch.

I think this was embedded in the great debate of trunk or hatch.
