I had mine fixed about 2 months ago...then had the ECU replaced about 2 weeks ago for the CEL/SCL issue. Right after receiving my FR-S back from the dealership, as soon as I got home (about 10 miles away) the chirping came back...now mind you this is after they already replaced the fuel pump once. it actually is sir. my friend is a tech at toyota and the report given to them is that the part will be replaced by request of owner, but its still the same HPFP from manufacture until they fix the plunger problem youll get the same HPFP that will give you the crickets. he told me to wait.
