I wish they had made the FA20 a 2.5 by boring out the cylinders instead of trying to squeeze 200 hp out of the 2.0 by using a high compression ratio and sacrificing all the torque.
2.5 engine with 200 hp and 190 tq would make me very happy!

Can hardly say they "sacrificed" torque to get 200hp when the FA20 has the most torque... of any na 2.0L. And larger bores = less efficient combustion so less hp per liter as you try to scale it up. Best hp per liter is found at 0.5L or less per cylinder.
You want more liters while keeping 100hp per liter, you need more cylinders. And this deals purely for NA.
