There is probably a extra masking sheet under camo on hood and similar situation on front fascia. You are right with "hood line should be similar to Mk2", I think including central "stamped" (English word? sorry if wrong) section which lines continues on roof.
Hood and probably fenders with vents are nicely on this picture:
Front grille is wrong OR JPN. Also lights looks differently.
