Exactly, I heard the stock tubing size around the MAF was 2.5... We may have found another contributing factor to this problem.

Sony for a ride in the car last night with the AIRAID. He got to witness the hesitation first hand. In addition, the car also decided to cut power for him too. Took off from a stop, 1-2 was fine, shifted from 2-3 and bam... no power at 2250 RPM. Car started sputtering and losing speed.
I'm going to see if I can fab up some kind of removable straightener and see if it makes a difference.
