what's the general consensus on here regarding Carbon Ceramic Brakes? Street and/or track use.

I understand a lot on here probably haven't used CCB/CCM's before as no one makes any for small wheels, but if a size was developed to fit with 15/16/17's and at a very reasonable cost, would there be sufficient interest?

Thanks!
Carbon ceramic brakes are fine on the street, but have a wide variety of pitfalls when used at track temperatures. We replace carbon ceramic setups on high-end cars every single day, such as GT3, GT2RS, Z06/7 option, Mclarens, Ferrari, etc...none of the customers ever look back after ditching their carbon ceramics for one of our iron disc AP Racing brake systems.

Many people confuse Carbon Ceramic for the Carbon Carbon discs used in professional racing (F1, IndyCar, IMSA, etc.). They are NOT the same material. Below is a link to an article I wrote on Carbon Ceramic disc a few years back. Everything in the article remains relevant today:

Are Carbon Ceramic Brake Discs Better than Iron?
