If anything, the dealership will rice it out more than the buyer with their weak accessories. Also, since this is a completely new car with the initial limited aftermarket parts, I think it may even take a a couple of years.
To be honest, in San Diego, I haven't seen too many riced out cars. Either that or I haven't been paying too much attention.

I see the opposite. The tC took off in the aftermarket like a bat out of hell. It was nearly overnight that HKS and the likes were building full carbon fiber race cars out it. I think the FR-S if it stays under Scion would take off just as fast with the aftermarket. There are just to many people waiting on this car for it to sit for a couple of years without some instant developments.
Seeing as how it's a sports car, I would imagine the accessories from the Scion dealer would cater a little more on the performance side of things. At least that's what I would like to see.
