I would never put glue on the textured plate, and I've printed PLA, PETG, ABS, and ASA on it with great success. According to Bambu they recommend glue for TPU, PC, and PA.

I also have the Wham Bam PEI plate and the Cool/Engineer plate from Bambu.

I'm not a fan of the cool plate: I just hate using glue. Same with the Engineer plate. Used them both a couple times, then never again.

The Wham Bam plate is awesome - basically like the textured plate but smooth. I get great adhesion with everything I print and if it cools completely before I get to it the parts have usually completely released.

I'm going to be doing some PC fairly soon, and according to Wham Bam that'll need glue but I've also read some people saying they don't use it and it works fine. I might test that before I commit to a big print.
