even with the rev limiter disabled, the car's electronic speed limiter is set to 140mph by Subaru/Toyota, which means the car, in bone stock form, is more than capable of hitting those speeds without damaging the engine.
id ask for a tech with more brains to give you a more accurate answer rather than some bs to try to avoid replacing the motor
better yet, ask them for proof that the limiter was disabled, and how they gathered that you went 129mph..
