It has never been a problem in any of the computers I've built. sounds like you got a shit CPU. (edit: not a shit CPU by choice. Shit as in bad/low quality manufactured)

It isn't a shit CPU, it does 4,9 GHz if I do it manually. It just BSoD's when the Asus mode is turned on.
Atm it runs at 4,5 Ghz @ 1.2 Vcore without any problems.
