I recall Perrin saying the 2.5 exhaust had some problems on the '22s for some reason and it doesn't work but 3" is fine. I didn't see any elaboration on why. Is what you installed here new for the '22s or the same parts as for 1st gen? If not new, do you think you know where they had in mind some sort of fit problem?

No clue, this is a 2.5" for the prior generation and bolted right up. Zero fitment issues. I know they had originally tested the 3" on @
trippinbillies40 car but not the 2.5"
