As with everything on a car, it is all about balance. So far, I have 2 friends that have gone this route and saw instant positive results on track. Also, CSG takes all that into consideration when you order one from them. This is CSG's reply email when I had some questions.
We offer custom configuration to match your car's weight, tire, power, aero, and suspension; this is dependent on you providing us with this information for us to provide the tuning service.
We do not have a "standard" setup, since we match each diff to the end user. There is no one-size-fits-all solution here.
Please note that the well tuned LSD will enhance the innate behavior of the car by effectively unlocking/enabling unused rear grip. It should lead to a more predictable car and improved driver confidence, but can also reveal weak points in the car's balance.
