While we are griping about the interior, I am also not in love with the center console lid. I know the old one did not even have a lid on it, but I was able to get an aftermarket armrest that was pretty great. I can't do that this time.

The center console looks smaller too, since its pretty much the integrated cup holders and...thats it. In the first gen, even though its a big hole with 2 "mounting" points for the removable cup holder tray, whichever position you put that tray in theres still some small sizable spaces where you can put stuff in.
In the second gen you have to use the cup holders as storage or cup holders
