Many of Japanese Domestic market only cars (Kai cars) have suppliers locally. With the Zupra, its a BMW except for the badge, which was imported from a Toyota supplier. Some said Toyota designed the suspension, but not really, its sourced and sub-contracted from one of the big suspension OEMs off the shelf with minor tweaks. Even the suspension structure is BMW, so the Zupra is pretty much a BMW.

But going back to the point, the GR86 is VERY disappointing its staying as 5x100... even the GR Yaris is 5x114.3.
Not for me! I get to put my wheels on it if I ever decide to buy one.
