The Z3 felt as he described to me though I was able to get pretty good consistency out of it even when hot, that could come down to the way a twin uses it's tires compared to that m3. It was strange to me he rated the RS4 as comparable as I did not think it felt like the Z3 at all and I didn't like it that much.
Now that I think about it the braking on the RT660 was very good and easy to modulate. I haven't got to run these on a track I am familiar with yet, but I was pretty impressed with them.

Just a guess but brand recognition is high up there too. BFG used to advertise heavily in the 90's and early 2000's and now I just don't hear too much from them. It also doesn't help that Advan has the cool JDM thing going for them. In any conversation i've had with people about competition/track tires it's always the usual suspects - Bridgestone, Falken, Advan, Michelin, Hankook, Kumho, Continental/Hoosier.
