Get a mechanics stethoscope (the two-to-one single tube variety) and a small funnel that will fit into the end of the single tube. Might even want to get a little longer piece of tubing. This works great for finding the general location of a rattle. Pull out the funnel and use just the open end of the tube to narrow down the location of a rattle.

If you have automatic climate control (which an 860SE does) there is a cabin temp sensor in the dash by your right knee (assuming left hand drive). Looks like maybe three(?) slots in the dash plastic. Check the connector/wiring behind the sensor. Mine was buzzing as you describe. There are many other possibilities as well. They didn't spend much of the budget on NVH for this platform.
