I later added fans with switches I could turn on and off. The fans worked incredibly well almost too well for the street.
I combined it with the “oem” oil to water heat exchanger and 197f thermostat. Combined with the limited non direct air flow from smaller opening it warmed up to 170f in any weather conditions essentially as fast as stock. Then kept the oil nice and cool once thermostat started opening. Adding the fans just enhanced both of these factors. worked incredibly well overall.
