you mean the input shaft? I think we caught it in time. Hopefully it didn't damage the actual input shaft itself but as far as the bearing retainer, I'm going to check it when I get in there, hopefully I don't need it.

i didnt replace my pilot bearing, but did replace the clutch disc with oem 30100AA870, im not sure why would would change unless youre pushing well over 200wtq. often times people replace parts with "performance" crap and reap none of the benefits, but get to enjoy all the drawbacks, because it their daily. 200tw tires on a daily, for example.
id bet the pilot bearing in the exedy oem/stage 1 kit is fine, thats never a culprit of any trouble, just the TOB's.

2 different places that sell the Exedy stage 1 state that max torque is "166 ft lbs at the wheel" and past threads I found state "203" so for arguments sake, lets say it is 203. Why would OEM be okay at 200 lb/ft of torque wheel if stage 1 is 203?
I do plan on going boosted soon, and I don't want to replace the clutch twice in a year. So I'd rather do what I can while I'm in there. I don't think a stage 1 clutch is going to be too hard on daily-ing.
