My Perrin intake came with a cap for the sound pipe that stays in the engine bay (right at the 90* elbow).

I don't see a need to also cap the hole in the firewall, but the 12v accessory cap from the glovebox does fit well there. Or you could take the 12v cap to the big box store and locate a plumbing plug with the same diameter and use that.
