USA measure their octane rating different to the way we do. We just use the RON number. US use the anti-knock number (RON+MON)/2.

Theirs is a better representation of fuel quality, but as you know, it doesn't really matter......

Aussie 95 = US ~91
Aussie 98 = US ~93
