I'm not saying a little more sound isn't nice, to a point, but I cannot see it being a thing with the next new model, if there is one.
People buying new cars want quite cars, it's only the 1% of owners that want louder.
If you want louder the aftermarket is there for you.
I may be a bit jaded from all all the obnoxiously loud cars, where people in their low powered cars throw on a loud exhaust to impress their 13 year old friends.
Around here there are dozens of idiots with loud exhausts and bang tunes cruising the streets being obnoxious for the sake of being obnoxious.
Personally I prefer to be stealthy, being loud for the sake of being loud screams "look at me".
