Why would the Gruppe-s UEL be any different than the Tomei UEL, they are typical designs.
If you want the best header you are going to pay, for a street car, maybe not worth the outlay, BUT, if you are competing, you would be silly not to.
Hell, in the end it does cost more, but, if you want to be competitive you would gladly pay the extra, I would.
As for being part way money wise to a turbo build, not really, plus it would change your class as well.
