GT4 pricing is just stupid. It's a tarted up Boxster with an old engine for 911 prices. If all you do is track the car, get a purpose-built track car like a Spec Racer Ford or a street car fully built with cage, HANS, fire, etc. If you mostly daily and track 10-20 days a year, get a 911 Carerra T. Hell, if I tracked 10 days a year every year, I'd still get a daily and a purpose-built track car. I saw a guy at the track once. He had a modern FWD Civic that had been in a spec Honda sponsored racing series that had gone defunct. He was happy as a clam, fast as a rocket, and safe.
