So if your going down a steep hill and your in a lower gear for engine braking and just using the brake pedal, it won't show what gear your in in the display?

Haha well if I am completely out of the gas I usually have the clutch in. I guess I meant if I'm not in gear. I don't use my engine to slow down, just brakes. Sorry for the confusion.
