Big rims and tyres are one of the quickest ways to ruin the fun factor on these cars.
Track is a different story, sort of, to a point...
If it is a street car and you are more interested in form then go for it, lose of performance/fun factor isn't a issue when your hardparked.
If you want to retain the fun factor I would suggest no bigger that 225 square, 17 x 8.
Good 17 225 tyres are well cheaper than 18 255.
More sidewall for the street is advisable IRT ride quality and rim protection from poor roads.
When your NA and running minimal power big tyres will rob the car both in performance and playfulness.
Best option is to borrow some rims and tyres in the size you "think you want" and see how they feel and fit, this is the only way to "maybe" not make a very expensive mistake.
