LOL, you guys and girls in the USA have it easy with modifications and other "stuff".

One good thing is that all the dodgy modifications that make cars unsafe are usually picked up by the police pretty quick, which is good.

Plus, you can go outside the regulatory guidelines by good engineering practices and having the modifications engineered by a licensed certifier and an engineering certificate issued.

It's fairly easy and a straight forward process, some people still whinge about having to do it though, there's always people who don't play well with others in the community.
