As you say don't judge a coilover from spring rates only, although 3K rears are soft for track use anyway, even Ohlins suggest for such use 5K F/R springs in their site.
On the other hand factory pink STI springs that the tS Bilsteins come with are 5K front 4K rears and if I am not wrong latest tS version from Sachs use same springs only dampers have changed:
