The ac switch in some of my old stripped out cars was used as AC (additional cooling) for when got a bit hot or on cool down laps.

The ac fans were left in place and only activated when I hit the button.

Worked quite well to bring temps back down after flogging the hell out of them.

Easier than using a plug in industrial type fan in the pits
