I wish that the store bought ramps were higher. Most of them barely lift this car enough to get under it to work. Years ago I had a set of steel ramps that brought the car up 16", those were really useful.

I was looking for a good way to get the car up high and motorcycle lifts kept popping up in my search so I started thinking that since they handle 1k-1500# each why can't we just put one under each wheel and lift the car 16 or 18"? It seems to me that a ~2800# car should be safe on 4 of these. No?
