This is one of the reasons I've never bought a used car. Especially with performance cars, it's a crap shoot on what you're going to get, and you really have to be diligent in making sure all the proper maintenance was done. I just don't have time to put into hunting down a cherry example, so I'll stick with buying new that way I know how the car gets treated (good or bad).
