1) SSC does not build on street rules, redacted from initial press release.
2) Items not for consideration in future: Seats, headers, lightweight battery and sport cats
3) Tunes.... 25 yes/ 30 no / 34 maybe. If you have a comment for or against, write in.
4) Don't install offset bushing.
5) Investigating rear end links if they should allow. (not sure if a problem yet... wait and see, know the issue and will watch and advise)
6) No doing model year updates/conversions (like using pieces from a series.blue on your car). You have to have the car.
7) Crash bolts, factory authorized, are allow.
8) Cannot interchange between subaru and toyota parts
9) Wheels from Tire rack will be at least 17lbs (before weights, caps, tpms sensors) whereas other wheels can be slightly under and use TPMS, weights, caps to bring them over 17 lbs.
10) wheel weight at 17 lbs was done to limit the cost for unobtanium prices for lighter wheels, yet allow a great selection still.
11) shocks legal for street class, but need a different specific part to make the camber adjust hole oem sized. contact koni for the part.
12) It takes about 10-15min per damper to calibrate and check for compliance in SSC.
13) How often do the konis need to be serviced? Exact same shock internally as the street car shock, expect to be 100k miles. If they feel funny, or adjuster no longer works, koni can fix.
14) All production of these shocks are coming into the US for work...
15) More wheels are coming to TR by April (hopefully).
16) If you use spacers, you need new studs.
17) Gave a history of how it came about.
18) The way the shocks are sealed, and such, if the shocks die, not rebuildable... will not open them up to adjust or tweak internally. Must be replaced with a new certified unit.
19) The tire like it to be cooler (per falken).
20) Pretty equal on concrete/asphalt... around 30psi
21) 1 year commitment with Falken. Already working towards continuation.
22) Decision to use Falkens were on the SCCA business side, not SEB/rules side.
23) Eibach kinda broken up... happy to be here.
24) Can get alignment advice from SPC and talk to tech guys.
25) Big possibility the class may be a national class for 2018... not a promise or done deal. Participation and commitment needs to continue.
26) Solo Safety steward and Junior steward webinars will be coming soon. Contact Doug Gill.
