Looks like a Mclaren from the front - not is a Mclaren. I did not posit a comparison of performance.
Example:
As I'm certain you understand, the 86 emblem denotes both the engine bore and stroke, and as a callback to the AE86 that, in part, inspired the development of the car. While perhaps garish, it is fitting. Although I'm not a big fan of the very small, fin shaped plastic insert placed at the forward position of the fender insert.
Although, this detail is easily removed or replaced. Also, the 86 changes the detailing of that piece, not the shape. I can't hinge my critic of the car's design on what is a fractional piece of the whole.
Maybe I do need to see an eye doctor. But I outlined a design critique with supporting arguments to draw a conclusion that the 86 design is: "okay, but not great. Nothing matches. If you buy it in black or grey you are probably okay."
Maybe I needed to clarify the black or grey comment. So, as you may understand, darker colors absorb more light which tends to obscure specific detailing, leaving only the large shape that these details belong to be clearly visible. I never argued the shape was wrong.
