I've run into a similar situation between my ODB adapter and my Verizon network adapter. My research came to that the second device may be interrupting the handshake with the ODB device. I've gotten both to work at the same time through some fluke of repairing bluetooths, but then the ODB fails after next car start. I haven't found a solution yet either.
