After my dealer botched the job, I had a private shop do it. They were able to seal it 100% perfect without removing the motor. Its possible, just takes patience, knowledge and experience.

It would have been nice if they had, I would have more confidence in the repair but for now it seems to be holding well. I'm curious, what did the indy shop charge you for the job?
