VW group cars- In their push to become the #1 car co. in the world, the overall quality of their cars has gone down the shitter. Plus with the very real financial problems that the dirty diesel car companies are experiencing they are cutting corners with customer service and warranty work.

Within the last 10 years Jeep has really gone down downhill. It really started int he mid-90's. Plus FCG cars are more expensive than they should be and have parts that are ridiculous $$
Hyundai- I have owned 3, but the cars tend to be cheap even today and have lots of options that work but not well. I had a Genesis Coupe and the nannies (TC, ABS, SC) were horrible. When they kicked on (like in the rain) it was like getting hit by a sledge hammer. Interior was cheap too. They are a low cost option and you get a lot of the money but I'd rather spend the same to get less but it all works- like with Toyota or Chevy.
I work on a lot of cars in roadside service and I see cars that are broken down mostly. I see the sorts of problems various cars tend to have. More people with Jeeps than any other car say they would never buy one again. Ford is #2. A lot of VW owners regret that decision too. I'd own a Ford, knowing what I'm getting in to, even if that company has some problems right now. You really have to know what to avoid with Ford.

Out of curiosity,out of those Jeeps,do any of those include Wranglers/Saharas that people say they would never buy again? I've found that Wranglers have probably the best resale value of any modern American car.I just drove my boss' Jeep yesterday,would never buy one because I don't like riding up high and the throttle is very unresponsive,but I'll admit,it's a good investment as far as cars go.
