You don't drive at redline. You shift gears. Then you're not at redline.

Most people just get into 5th and a few seconds later, the straight is over.
How long does that last? A few seconds, if that ever even happens.

You didn't specify if it was "driving at redline a portion of the time" or "driving at redline all the time". Since you're so good at being technical, please enlighten us on your newfound terminology of describing "driving at redline"
