Yep, I hear that. Kids today that hang on an open refrigerator door, deciding what they want, never had to carry ice to put in the ice box.
Oh, yes, get the ice tongs, go out to the ice house, open up the door, reach down, sweeping the cob webs and spiders aside, uncover a block of ice from the sawdust packing and lug it into the kitchen to the ice box.
......and it was uphill both ways ......
