My car runs hot in traffic after 30 mins, and driving over long time on just local roads in this heat. Coolant temps run 230-235, oil temps 230-240 with the a/c on. Running 5w20 oil. I have to turn on the heat to keep the coolant temps stable or untill I pickup some speed. What else can I do to help? Vent the fenders? Cut open the skid pan? Thicker oil? Coolant was replaced earlier this year with OEM Subaru Blue.

I fixed this issue running a very similar setup by replacing all the antifreeze in my radiator with distilled water and Purple Ice. Didn't drain the block so I ended up with probably a 80% water and 20% antifreeze mix. I also properly bled the coolant system for a solid 30 minutes letting every last bubble get out using this funnel attachment:

You probably have air in your system. I know I did. Runs at 210 F in slow moving traffic now in 95F ambient with the AC blasting.
