What I could see would be a boosted RWD coupe in the $25k range. Similar price to the WRX, similar HP but RWD and lightweight instead of AWD and 4/5-door. Otherwise you'll get every reviewer and magazine in the country talking about how you'd be stupid to pay $7k more for a vehicle that's slower and infinitely less practical...
