So a short background, I just got my 2017 Subaru BRZ Limited Inazuma edition a month ago, and the car just reached 1000 miles last weekend. I've owned 7 other manual transmission cars, and have never experienced anything like this before. The first 1000 miles, I took it real easy until maybe around 800 miles which I would just hit 5-6000 rpms from time to time. I also just got an oil change last weekend as well after I reached the 1000 mile threshold. Anyways, today I went out for a drive, and noticed that the car was making some weird grinding/vibration/drilling noise anytime the car reaches 5,000 RPMs or greater between gears 2,3,4.
