Have you seen those videos where people trigger fires while filling up with static shocks and then they proceed to pull the nuzzle out and spread gas + fire everywhere? Well, without locks that will never happen. Initial fire could still happen because of static, but most likely you will either let go of the nuzzle, or pull it from the car and let go of it, in both cases, the gas stops pumping, no more fuel for the fire, so all you get is a slightly burn gas cap.
