Other than the higher cost of consumables, does the weight bother you on track? Miss the smaller size of your BRZ or s2k?
After I built the BRZ, I returned it to stock and traded in for an SUV. I decided go with an S2000. I've noticed that my Supercharged BRZ was only marginally faster than a bolt on S2000 on our local tracks (big straightaway at Ridge). I could barely pass the S2000 on the straightaway with my 268whp Rotrex BRZ and guess what? my friend who had a Rotrex Miata told me the same exact thing. I've found it unacceptable after all the money and effort that I put in on my BRZ. I wanted to try building an S2000 this time since Honda was making a healthier HP vs our FI cars on track environment. On the paper Rotrex BRZ or Miata, should've been a lot faster but they were not.

After I built the S2000, I was planning to keep it with the 1LE then I figured that I won't be driving the S2000 as much after I get the 1LE. I figured that I wouldn't be driving the (I don't want to say "lesser" let's say) slower car that much. I have too many cars in the household (with the SUV and the electric car). 1LE is definitely a lot better road car since both my S2000 and BRZ were loud after the mods, as I was trying to squeeze the last HP out of them reliably. With the 1LE I have no such concern about the power and the grip is insane for something that only costs $45k . I had a couple little issues with the 1LE but other than that it was blast to drive.

I really like lighter cars also Miata, BRZ , S2000s are all special cars but wish they had some more power. If the BRZ had an S2000 engine it would be the best of both worlds but that car doesn't exist :/
They also require good amount of modifications to run safely at track.

My Stock Camaro SS 1LE put 419whp/413 wtq on dynojet and I asked Bob from Drift office to put it against my Rotrex BRZ. You can literally fit a Stage 2 Evo in that gap
