This whole post is the one and main reason I will never ever take my car to a dealership. I've had similar experiences (other cars) and it also happens on some garages (that I have learned to avoid). You take the car in for one thing, you know what it is, you want a specific thing fixed/changed, but now, low and behold the problem is not that, its something else. Then they go and fuck up everything on the car because they are incappable of doing more than rotating the tires most of the time and then boom, you end up with a car that will never be the same ever again.
Dealers are made to grab money of you, they do such shitty work because they arent responsible of anything. If something breaks, manufacterers have to pay the price, not them, so doing shitty work usually result in more work (read: money) for them.
I know there are exceptions to this, but they are few and far between, I will not take my chance, not now, not ever.
