I don't care about wet weather or cold temperature performance, noise, or wear, but I don't want a tire that requires much temperature to provide good performance on the street. The RE-71 is 'on' immediately, but @CSG Mike thought it may heat cycle out before it wears out. Based on your experience and my priorities, do you think the NT-01 is decent daily driver tire for a no-compromise highly modded warm weather extreme road toy?
Both of the above mentioned tires require heat to grip at their peak. If you think the RE71R is immediately grippy, you're in for a shock when you experience them warmed up.

Start slow and always give BOTH tires a few mi nutes to warm up when driving in a spirited manner.

If you want a shorter warmup time, use the Maxxis RC1.
